Chris Barr is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Bluestone Private Wealth. He brings nearly 35 years of experience in financial management to his role as an investment advisor to high-net-worth clients of Bluestone. Chris understands the importance of alternative investing as an integral part of HNW family portfolios. He has decades of experience in working with clients to assess private investing opportunities.

Prior to Bluestone, Chris worked 8 years at MAI Capital Management where he managed complex client portfolios. His time at MAI was preceded by his role as Vice President of Big Game Capital, a single-family wealth management office that he helped launch in 2000. Before moving with his family back to Cleveland in 2020, Chris worked for 10 years with a filling brokerage on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

In 2021 Chris was recognized as a Notable Wealth Manager in Crain’s Cleveland.

Chris graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He and his wife Chrissy live in Chagrin Falls and enjoy traveling with the extra free time they have now that they are empty nesters!
